No luck at the trap last night. We will trip it tonight but leave food. Tomorrow we will move the trap over to where the sightings are consistently coming in. It will be a very quiet are until Monday when everyone returns to work, and much easier to monitor. And we have the property owner's permission to do what it takes to capture him.
An additional tactic being taken is to put out an appeal for anyone with a bitch in heat to provide urine soaked rags that can be used to strengthen the luring properties of the trap. Please contact Sue at 703-568-5879 if you can help with this.
Update Wednesday evening: a female in heat has been found, and hopefully those scent pads will be available for pickup really soon. And hopefully other offers will come in too. We're not sure we can have too many.
