Thunder is Lost!

Thunder escaped from his new home (of about ten day) as the dog walker entered the home, on Monday December 14th. He ran off along Frying Pan Road, and from there it seems that he probably made his way to the W&OD Trail, perhaps by way of Monroe Street. There have been several sightings, all of which have been off the trail.

longcoat German Shepherd

looks like a Shiloh Shepherd

male, 4 years old

coat is predominantly black with cream markings

face is solid black

stands 30 inches high

weighs 105 pounds

very gentle and unaggressive (but very wary of strangers right now)

likes going for rides

was wearing a brown leather collar with tags reading "Chewy" and
a choke collar when he disappeared

recently moved to the Herndon area when he joined his new family
